The Consulate staff performs the functions common to such an operation — administrative, consular, economic, political, and public affairs.
Other agencies which are part of the U.S. Mission at the U.S. Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro include: (DAO) Department of Defense, (FCS) Department of Commerce, Intellectual Property Rights Office (IPR), and the (LOC) Library of Congress.
