Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle Visits Brazil

Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle led a delegation from Georgia’s tourism industry to meet with representatives from Brazil’s tourism sector. The group visited São Paulo from April 10-12, and were in Rio from April 13-14.
On April 14th, Lt. Gov. Cagle hosted a luncheon and gave a speech to invited Tour Operators and Journalists. In his speech he focused of Georgia’s many tourist attractions, including Atlanta’s shopping and nightlife, Savannah’s beaches and colonial architecture, and the natural beauty of the mountain region. He also noted that Atlanta, home of the world’s largest airport, with a brand new international terminal is a convenient base for exploring the State and the rest of the eastern United States.
